Preparation of the Blue Flag Programme Application form for 2017 in AD Marina Bar

During this month visits Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović and other team members together with AD Marina Bar management prepared Final Application Form for Blue Flag Programme. During this, special attention has been paid to the exchange of experience about QMS ISO 9001:2015 and EMS ISO 14001:2015 certification in marinas and nautical ports which are developed throughout other regions in Europe, Asia, Far East, North America and the Mediterranean.
During this month, the project team members have developed concept for special Third Training in AD Marina Bar under the title: Third Trening for Oil spill prevention and responses in AD Marina Bar. This training in the marina Bar aquatorium will be held in order to constantly improve the marina staff, marina users, marina operator, students from Montenegrin Faculties, pupils from secondary school and other guests to use oil spill boom in cases of water pollution with oils and derivates from boats. ''Hemosan'' LLC Bar (the company for sanitary and environmental protection) and Petrol Crna Gora MNE doo (the two specialist companies for sea protection) will support this training with special equipment and all necessary explanations. It is provided that training consists of five parts: general introductory lecture on environmental management in Marina Bar conference room with special film show on usage of oil spill boom in some world marinas and small ports with regards to significance of environmental protection in marinas. After that it is provided marina gates tour and practical lecture on usage and maintenance of spill boom and training exercise will be held in the front of Petrol Station in AD Marina Bar. Here is provided that special boat with trained personnel and all necessary equipment for sanitation the damage from Hemosan doo, hold the practical training for oil spill boom usage and all actions that are taken in such situation. In addition it will be made some lectures on site about implementation of environmental protection standards in AD Marina Bar. This training also contents a part in which marina staff together with pupils from Secondary school and undergraduate and graduate students from Maritime Faculty, will have a tour at Hemosan recycling factory in Port of Bar. Here will be held third training with regards to processes and operation of recycling of waste collected from marina.




During this ecological-educational training it will be held a presentation and promotion of achieved results on the project SUST-MARINA and special quiz on environmental protection of sea and coastal ecosystems for users of marina services, students and pupils of secondary schools from Bar. The aim of this training will be to constantly improve marina staff, marina users, project team members, students, and other interested guests with application and achievement of ecological standards and actions that should be taken in emergency situations.
