Participation at 16th International Conference "Research and Development in Mechanical Industry

Project Manager, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović participated at RaDMI 2016 and presented two papers entitled: CAPACITY UTILIZATION OF RECREATIONAL PORTS: THE CASE FOR MARINA BAR written by Branislav Dragović, Vassilis Tselentis, Sanela Pejaković, Zdravko Paladin et al. and CRUISE PORTS THROUGHPUT: THE CASE FOR SOUTH ADRIATIC PORTS written by Branislav Dragović, Ernestos Tzannatos and Romeo Meštrović. Both papers also were published in the Proceedings of Conference are directly in accordance to the achieved investigation in the SUST-MARINA project.

During the attendance, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović has been chair of both Plenary Sessions with special parts of Plenary Sessions - Sustainable Development in Maritime Transportation and Logistics. The main aim of these special parts of Plenary Session is related to parameters for estimating capacity in marina Bar based on statistical analysis. First, authors have started with the technical specifications of the marina layout with some explanations of the dimensional land and water area. Second, after the both analysis of the areas, authors specified the efficiency of the marina capacity. Output results show the possibility of improvement of the used berthing facilities in marina for creating the model that can maximize the utility level in marina and service higher number of boats in the situation of increased traffic frequency.

Also, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović took this opportunity for further promotion of SUST-MARINA project and had several meetings with very important persons such as Prof. Dr. Domenico Guida; Prof. Dr. Vlatko Marišić; Prof. Dr. Srđan Bošnjak and so on.
