Participation at Second European Conference on Shipping, Intermodalism & Ports - ECONSHIP 2015,

Project Manager, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović participated at ECONSHIP 2015 and presented two papers entitled: Integrative model of sustainable development for marinas and nautical ports and Scenario-based traffic modeling of Ro-Ro automobile terminal in the Port of Bar. Both papers also were published in the Proceeding of Conference are directly in accordance to the achieved investigation in the SUST-MARINA project.

During the attendance, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović has been chair of Session 6 entitled Modeling Shipping and Ports at ECONSHIP 2015 with five papers from Turkey, Greece and Saudi Arabia and took this opportunity for further promotion of SUST-MARINA project. He also had several meetings with very important persons such as Prof. Dr. Harilaos Psaraftis, Danish Technical University; Ioannis Theotokas, Deputy Secretary General, Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Maritime Affairs and Tourism of Greece; Dr. Michele Acciaro, Kuhne Logistics University – Hamburg; Prof. Dr. Athanasios Pallis, MedCruise Secretary General, among others and took this opportunity for elaboration and promotion of SUST-MARINA project.

Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović has realized a study visit to Ferry and Cruise Terminal and Marina on Chios in order to the exchange of experience about the tourism development and sustainable concept that directly impacts on small nautical ports and marinas in the region such as Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean sea.
