Project manager, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović met with experts on modeling the transportation services Prof. Dr. Andrej Škraba and Doc. Dr. Davorin Kofjač at Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Kranj, Slovenia on May 21-22nd. They had shortly meetings and discussed about the work on the discrete-event simulation approaches and incorporation of pre-built simulation elements using sophisticated animation functions. The results of the achieved models will be applied in the case of small ports. In addition, they elaborated about the work on the system dynamics and agent-based approaches. The experts are developing a model and animation of the port system directly in 3D using Virtual Reality Animation.
