Prof. Dr. Basil-Stelios Tselentis realized the study visit from May 4th to 6th and took the opportunity to do the following activities:

- Prof. Tselentis did the measurement activities in AD Marina Bar with the instruments brought from Marine Science Laboratory, University of Piraeus on 5th and 6th of May;

- During the same time, he had meetings with Project manager and other team members in AD Marina Bar;

- Participated in two roundtables that were organized at Maritime Faculty during 5th and 6th of May;

- Realized a guest lecture to the students at Maritime Faculty on 5th of May.

Prof. Tselentis prepared the Intermediary Report on the monitoring program, incorporating measurements performed on June and October 2014 and March and May 2015 and together with Project manager presented the results to the marina staff. They all concluded that it must be noted that microbiological measurements (total coliforms, E coli and enterococci) considered very important in a monitoring strategy, were not performed due to lack of equipment. Also other measurements such as ΒOD, COD, nutrients (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and phosphates), aromatic hydrocarbons, heavy metals in the water column and the sediments, as well as the assessment of biological quality of the major biological groups biological monitoring (as required by the EU water Framework Directive), as still to follow, according to the priorities and decisions of the Marina Bar Management Authority.

With regards to the meetings and roundtables at Maritime Faculty, project team used the presence of Prof. Tselentis to elaborate more about the procedures and protocols of integrated management systems. In addition, Prof. Tselentis presented some of the results to the students from Maritime Faculty and discussed about the achieved results in the project activities.
