Visit to Port of Piraeus (Ro-Ro car and cruise terminal) by young researcher on the project. Meeting

MSc Maja Škurić, young researcher on the SUST-MARINA project visited Port of Piraeus and had an intensive meeting with Director for Telecommunications Network and e-Porting, Mr. Yiannis Papagiannopoulos on April 24th. Also, the meeting was attended by MSc Ioannis Koliousis, teaching assistant from University of Piraeus. They elaborated about the future cooperation and also provided the visit of young researcher MSc Maja Škurić to see the operational policies at Ro-Ro car and cruise terminal in Port of Piraeus.

In addition, young researcher presented the concept of the SUST-MARINA project and the importance of providing the environmental aspects and conditions in port systems. From the practical point of view, it was a great opportunity for young researcher to improve her knowledge about the terminals’ real conditions and procedures of loading/unloading and embarking/disembarking processes at mentioned terminals.
