Visit to Marina Zea and collecting information about the ISO certification

MSc Maja Škurić, young researcher on the SUST-MARINA project visited local Marina Zea in Piraeus on April 23rd to collect the information about the solving the most critical indicators and points during the ISO certification.

Also, she used this visit to make the observations to the service facilities, boatyard equipment and other issues that are reported to the project team members. It was a good opportunity to see the promotion of information facilities in Marina Zea.

Regarding tasks of ISO certification, young researcher on the project worked on the collecting necessary information about:

• Establishing objectives and processes that are required from marina staff.

• Implementation of the process of certification in marina.

• Measuring and monitoring the processes in marina. Reporting the results.

• Provide and take actions to improve performances of Environmental Management System in marina.

• Preparation for continual improvement process in marina.
