Working team of the project Applying and promoting the concept of sustainable development to AD Marina Bar – (SUST-MARINA) has met at the Environmental protection Agency of Montenegro on December 10th. The team discussed about the applying the Blue Flag programme to AD Marina Bar which has to be based on promoting and adapting details on the measurement and management of compliance with the Blue Flag criteria for marina.

Marina management through Environmental Impact Assessment is a decision-making process used to promote environmentally friendly planning by assessing the potential side effects of certain activities, as well as benefits to the environment. A preliminary data for ISO 9001:2008 certification was reported.

It was concluded that during the next few months, it will be provided some trainings in environmental matters and best practice methods to marina personnel.
