Study visit of young researcher at Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor

The successful study visit at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences Kranj, Laboratory of Cybernetics and Decision Support Systems, University of Maribor was done by MSc Maja Škurić, young researcher on the project, from October 12th to 26th.

One of the main objectives of the study visit was to assess new knowledge in programming techniques and software in anticipation of the future research. Other was related to the updating the knowledge of simulation techniques in different optimization processes. Benefits of the study visit were anticipated to be in the areas of modeling and simulating Slovenian and Montenegrin nautical ports and marinas.

During study visit, MSc Maja Škurić, young researcher on the project, showed the up-to-date performances of ports and marinas in Montenegro. The ecological criteria were fundamental and together with developed model, it will serve to calculate negative environmental effects in ports and marinas.
