The interview from October 18th was related to the purpose of sustainable development of port systems and marinas in Montenegro which is a necessary continuation of the process to ensure environmental standards of the European Union. Development of such ports can ensure competitive position not only in Adriatic, but more in the Mediterranean.
Considering that the green port concept is the future of Montenegro, Maritime Faculty started with the project Applying and promoting the concept of sustainable development to AD Marina Bar – (SUST-MARINA).
Project manager Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović, emphasizing the importance of the research, explains the current situation in Montenegrin ports and marinas, while Prof. Dr. Basil-Stelios Tselentis talked about the European experience.
