Kick off meeting organized at the Amphitheatre of Secondary School of Agriculture – Bar and AD Marin

Kick off meeting of the project Applying and promoting the concept of sustainable development to AD Marina Bar – (SUST-MARINA) was organized at the Amphitheatre of Secondary School of Agriculture – Bar and AD Marina Bar on 20th – 21st June 2014. The Kick off meeting included four sessions with the participation of the working team members, guests and representatives of all partners’ institutions.

Welcome notes were given by: MSc Darko Petrušić - the representative of Ministry of Science and HERIC Project, MSc Senka Šekularac-Ivošević - the representative of Dean of Maritime Faculty and Project manager, Prof. Dr. Branislav Dragović. Other speakers were: Prof. Dr. Basil-Stelios Tselentis, MSc Tomislav Markolović, MSc Maja Škurić, MSc Aleksandar Božović, Mr Saša Ivanović and Mr Vladan Perazić from HERIC Project team.

The meeting also was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, a representative of the JP Morsko Dobro, as well as other institutions from maritime industry, shipping agencies and maritime education. The meeting was held in accordance with the proposed agenda.

During the meeting, it was adopted a detailed Action Plan for the first year and it refers to the collection and systematization of data from AD Marina Bar as well as the criteria to be met in order to treat it as sustainable. A special presentation at the Kick off meeting had Prof. Dr. Basil-Stelios Tselentis in relation to the sustainable development and the development of green strategies in nautical ports and marinas.
