Prof. Dr. Danilo Nikolić is a Dean of Maritime Faculty and Associate Professor at the Maritime Faculty, University of Montenegro.

He received his BSc degree of mechanical engineering at University of Montenegro in 1995, Master of Science studies in 1999 at University of Belgrade and his PhD degree in System Engineering Environment in 2002 at University of Montenegro.

His research areas include: IC Engines, Fuels, Combustion and Exhaust Emission, and Environmental protection. He received a numerous prestigious grants: Fulbright fellowship at the University of Michigan, USA, 2007-2008; Fellowship from Japanese National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science & Technology - AIST, Tsukuba, Japan, 2005-2006; Fellowship from KEIO University, Tokyo, Japan, 2000-2001, etc. He published many journal and conference papers and he is an author or co-author of several books.
